You may have heard in the media that I have (with the help of some wonderful sponsors: Crystal Glass Canada Ltd. ENMAX and Shipper Supply) taken over a room at Edmonton City Hall and built a cardboard MAZE. This is something I have been doing for 30 years with/for my family friends and now children. This year I decided to turn it into a fundraiser and since I have a passion for the services provided by the Youth Empowerment & Support Services (YESS) they were my choice. The MAZE is geared for children Grades 1 -6, and for those other age groups we have the ENMAX photo booth. This is a free event, although I hope that whatever you can find to donate to such a worthy cause you will drop in our collections box. To date we have raised approximately $17,000.00 but I would like it to be at $20,000.00 by October 31 when it closes.
Here is a link to the Edmonton City Website for groups to book the MAZE during the week. On Saturday’s come down and visit us from 10 am – 3 pm no booking required, we are open along with the City Market!
